The most popular American soap opera for now is The Wire. Why is this seemingly typical drama series about the everyday life of American police, is number one? Surprisingly, after the series, one criminal gang was seriously attracted to characters from the series, choosing their idols serials "villains" and copying their actions. That's what ruined them, and because the police learned that the criminals simply "lick one to one" scenes from the series, were able to predict their actions, thus easy to catch them.

In the second place is the fiction series Battlestar Galactica what is surprising is that it is the only pure fiction represented in Top. It is such an explosive mixture of "Star Trek", "Star Wars" and partly "Terminator" (as among the characters are robots). Third place has Odano, certain well-known TV series about the Mafia "The Sopranos." Diluted pathetic Italian mafia, problems and relationships, producers of the series got immense popularity among the audience, who gladly savored and experienced in, as it turned out, lives the same as they were involved in the everyday "simple" mafia clan. By the very particular follower of such topics includes series "Brotherhood" – the 19 place.

Fifth place paid edition has the West Wing. This "soap opera" is about the everyday life of residents and staff of the White House. Probably, all are curious to see "the kitchen of high politics."

In the list of the best series there were animated works - of course The Simpsons, with their specific issues and social brutal humor, they took the honorable second line, South Park which is generally a bomb among the animated series for adults that blew its public mockery of American culture, (8 th place) and "Family Guy" - The Simpsons clone, the main difference of which is the presence of a character of dog-drunk - 45-position in the list.

In the seventh place was series Lost. It is always interesting to watch people who end up caught in the extreme, to an island in the field of the plane crash.

10th place went to TV series Curb Your Enthusiasm, a genre which is usually defined sitcom - situational comedy. The main character Larry David lives in California and is busy squabbling and intrigue with his wife, a fat agent, his aggressive wife and their friends. Larry is stubborn, prone to neuroses and constantly finds himself in awkward situations. The series is notable for the fact that the actors in most of the filming improvise, and this comedy shows what they have generated, even the catch-phrase "the time of Larry David," meaning an awkward situation.

Finally "Doctor House" is worth nothing, this series took only 23 position in the list and is ahead of other series-brothers on medical topics such as "ER" (Emergency Services) - 25 position, Bones (Bones), 31st place, and Scrubs (Clinic) - 33 place.
