TV Series leaves no one indifferent. Their make us fury or we hate them, or we are watching them with adoration, without stopping, sometimes even neglecting sleep. The plot is always predictable melodrama: the love story, the main character, who to the last series will find, finally, his prince, villains, succumbs to "spice" a little bit. And that all involved in a whirlpool of events.

   They are different: the Brazilian, Argentine, Mexican, American, and French. But in all the soap operas on a mandatory basis we see love and tears, betrayal and jealousy, murder and mystery. Maybe that's why they are so popular? Indeed, in our daily lives there are so few bright colors, passions, incredible events like in the soap operas.

 "Santa Barbara", "The rich cry too", "Simply Maria", "Wild Rose", "Helen and her boys" - now these names are mellifluous and cause tenderness. A dozen years ago, a sweet tale of a different life set the pace of our life. It seemed that these series were watched by absolutely everyone, from small to large. Every new day begins with a discussion of yesterday's series: Someone would soon give birth, someone has died and someone suddenly lost his memory. It is now such a plot seems ridiculous, but then it extremely thrilled.

  Opponents of the "soap operas" will give you a bunch of arguments, why not to watch stupid soap operas. A waste of time, banal plots, predictable, bad acting ... In most cases, because of the large plot of prolixity, its incredible interest disappears and altogether we do not see any logic. Most likely scenario is appended already in the course of filming, and even after the broadcast on TV. But who knows what else. This view has a right to exist.
 
   But there are other opinions. If you try you may find positive points in "soap operas". Imagine an old sweet woman, who knows the TV time. Her leisure time is composed of channel switching at a designated time for viewing the fifth show in a row. What does this grandmother would do if she had to loose this opportunity? Will she constantly sit at crosswords or puzzles?

   After a hard day at work and tasty meal for some of the joint family to view the series is the best pastime. If to exaggerate a bit, then we can say that the series bring together the family. How the lonely people will make up for lack of personal life, like not using soap operas?

   But those who are most fond of soap operas; it is, of course, children. They are the easiest to understand. Probably, unfortunately, but from melodramas our children know where children come from, what a betrayal and jealousy, and generally, what is good and what is bad.
   And, of course, do not forget about advertising.
 
   As you can see, opinions are divided. But let us show humanism and, after all, give soap operas "right to life. And the audience will choose their own, on which channel and what time to switch the remote control.
